Library Book Sale Haul!

IMG_1707

So, a few weeks ago my local library had their bi-annual book sale. Usually I go into these things not expecting to get much because a majority of the books they sell are genres I’m not all that into, so when I walked out of the library this time with a HUGE box, needless to say it was a different story this time around. I walked away with 16 books.

I may have a problem.
Just a slight one.

First off on the list are books #3, #5, #6, #7, #8, and #10 in Terry Goodkind’s Sword of Truth series. I picked these up because I already have the first book and plan on buying them all at some point, so I figured why not buy them when they’re a quarter a pop? I scoured for others, but these were the only ones I could spot among the masses of Harlequin novels that surrounded them.

Next up are Extremely Loud & Incredibly Close by Jonathan Safran Foer, Lost & Found by Jane Sigaloff, Moloka’i by Alan Brennert, The Widow of the South by Robert Hicks, and Phoenix Rising by Pip Ballantine & Tee Morris, the first book in the Ministry of Peculiar Occurrences series.

And, finally! We have Wicked by Gregory Maguire (no I did not own this previously, and yes, I know, it’s sad), Skinny by Donna Conner, Angelfall (a book I have been DYING to get my hands on) by Susan Ee. The Cuckoo’s Calling (another I’ve been wanting to get) by Robert Galbraith AKA J.K. Rowling, and Faerie Wars by Herbie Brennan.

A pretty good haul of used books, if I do say so myself. And I spent around $14 for the lot, if I’m remembering correctly. Not bad.

You can follow and friend me on Goodreads (if you blatantly ignore my previous year’s reading goal, I’ve been rereading old series this whole past year and they don’t count towards reading goals if they’ve already been used for another year) right here!

Thanks for reading!

xoxo Nova
